This temple has a Youth Hostel inside.
I stayed here 1988. It is very recommended,
because you can go around in the temple
before the gate opens for ordinal people. |

I left hotel at 7:30 AM and reached Chusonji at 8:00. Left Chusonji at
11:30. Did I stay too long at Chusonji? Next I went to Motsuji and at last,
around 13:00, when I thought "Let's leave Hiraizumi!", I began
to rain. It was the beginning to fight against misty rain.
Run.......Iwagasaki..., I reached Iwadeyama around 19:00. "If I head
for Naruko Onsen (Spa), I might not eat dinner at ryokan. But here, Iwadeyama, is not a business hotel....." I decided to
head for Furukawa. I met a shower again in the way to Furukawa. I
got in the hotel like a man just after swiming..
