Fast Food Shop
Beaf (or Poke) Bowl Shop: "Gyudon"
It is Japanese fast food. Beaf or Poke is on rice in a bowl. You can enjoy
it in relatively low price. Many of the shops open 24 hours.Remember logos.

You can find hamburger shops in many towns and cities.

Bar (Public House)
You can enjoy Japanese sake, beer, wine, wiskey etc..
If you get in a bar that dosen't have a list price in menu, get out of a bar before order.

Japanese Style Restaurant Bar: "Izakaya"
In Japanese style restaurant bar:'Izakaya", you can enjoy not only beer, sake, other alcohol drinks, but also small dish of foods.
Price of small dish is about from 500 yen. A jog of beer is about 600 yen to 800 yen(depend on size of jug).
Bar (western style)
There are many western style bars in Japan. Many towns have bar.
There are shops named "bar" or "pub" where girls sit on your side and serve you drinks. They are expinsive, take care. If you want to drink cheaply, get in a bar named "shot bar".

Chopsticks, Knife and Fork

If you use chopsticks, you enjoy Japanese foods more. Please try them!

Tuck one chopstick under thumb. It will be hold with ring finger, pointer finger and thumb. |

Add the second chopstick; To hold it like a pencil. Bend your fingers, pointer and middle finger, to up and down. |

Try to set the head of chopstick to meet at same spot to be able to tuck
food. Now you can pick any small food with chopsticks. |
Knife and Fork
Maybe in all restaurants and bars, fork and spoon are available. But in
the case of knife, I don't know, some Japanese food restaurants may not
have it. Try to order.(English words "fork", "spoon"
and "knife" are understandable for most Japanese (Click!).)
